The 12th Annual Henry Derksen Memorial Classic at Bel Acres Golf and Country Club was held on July 20th. Each year, golfers gather for this Texas Scramble style golf tournament with proceeds going to the ALS Society of Manitoba.

Premier Brian Pallister recently announced the Basketball Manitoba plate, the province's newest specialty licence plate, which will be available to purchase effective March 20, 2017.

Effective March 1, 2017, Manitobans will be able to purchase $7 and $10 million liability coverage options to supplement the $1 million, $2 million and $5 million coverage options already available for most vehicles. These increased limits of liability will be available to all customers regardless of their renewal or re-assessment date.

These networks offer access to worldwide accommodations in family homes, condos, summer homes and cabins where the property owner may or may not be in the dwelling during the stay. Guests reportedly experience a home-away-from-home feel that they may not get while checked into a hotel.

According to Statistics Canada, Canadian retailers sold $3.83 Billion in gifts of jewellery and watches in 2014 and 6% of those sales were made online. By 2019, Canadian online purchases are expected to increase to 10%.
