Province of Manitoba Announces Paramedic License Plates
The Province of Manitoba recently announced the release of new Paramedic License Plates to highlight the accomplishments and contributions of paramedics as a vital component of Manitoba’s health care system. These license plates will be a part of Manitoba’s member based license plates program, and will be available to currently active or retired paramedics, including either those paid on-call or volunteer, as well as immediate family (spouses, common-law partners, dependents and parents) of current, retired or fallen EMS providers.
The cost for specialty license plates in Manitoba is $70, with $30 of that fee being returned to a charity supported by the organization. The Paramedic License plates will benefit the Canadian Mental Health Association (Manitoba and Winnipeg region).
These plates will join the likes of other member-based license plates in Manitoba including Amateur Radio Operators, Firefighter and Veteran Plates. The assortment of specialty license plates available to the general public include: Support Our Troops, Curl Manitoba, Fish Futures (trailers), Winnipeg Blue Bombers, Winnipeg Goldeyes, Winnipeg Jets, Brandon Wheat Kings, Winnipeg Humane Society, University of Manitoba, and Snoman.
Those interested in applying for Paramedic License Plates can download the application, and submit it to The Paramedic Association of Manitoba with your payment. Once your eligibility is confirmed, they will forward the application to MPI for processing on your behalf.
