New Specialty License Plates from Team Insurance Brokers
Team Insurance Brokers has great news for Manitobans who are ready for a new set of license plates on their vehicles, as Manitoba Public Insurance has recently announced two new types of specialty licence plates. First up are the heavily rumoured new Winnipeg Blue Bomber plates. The new designs reflect the change in design of the team’s logo and uniform, and will be available for purchase this Monday, May 28th. The Winnipeg Blue Bomber plates will cost $70, with $30 of the proceeds going to the Blue Bombers Football Club. At the start of the day, Team Insurance Brokers will have a limited number of plates available at both our Henderson Hwy and Main Street offices. Come early so you don’t miss out! Autopac also recently announced that Manitoba firefighters are able to purchase their own

specialty license plates as well. These are only available to eligible current or retired firefighters, including career, paid on-call, volunteer and First Nations individuals. The Manitoba firefighter plates are available for $70 with $30 of the proceeds going to the Manitoba Firefighters Burn Fund and Fallen Firefighters Fund. Applications for the plates can be printed by clicking here http://mpi.mb.ca/PDFs/FirefighterPlateApplication.pdf or visiting one of our offices. The plates will be mailed out in the summer, and will need to be validated on your vehicle by a quick visit to our office. As a general note, the license plates can either be used on your car, truck, van or SUV or kept in your home as a keepsake. Unfortunately, specialty licence plates are not able to be used on your commercial truck. They can also be interchanged with other specialty license plates you have purchased (such as the Winnipeg Jets license plates issued last December). Keep in mind that you do need to stop by to see Our TEAM to validate the change of your plate.
