Team Insurance Brokers was a proud sponsor of The 11th Annual Henry Derksen Memorial Classic held on Thursday July 21, 2016 at Bel Acres Golf and Country Club.

This Texas scramble style tournament is held in support of The ALS Society of Manitoba and in memory of Garry Fast’s uncle, Henry Derksen who died of the disease.  ALS, also known as Lou Gehrig’s disease, affects approximately 3000 Canadians and more than 290 Manitobans.

Teamers Michael Kehler and Dawn Colquhoun greeted golfers at hole #3 with cold water and delicious rhubarb, strawberry and apple platz prepared by The Crusty Bun in St. Vital.  Participants were also invited to try their chance at a dice rolling game raising a further $645 for ALS which Team Insurance Brokers matched.
